I have been shying away from the so-called "Web 2.0" for a long time: social networking, blogging, et al. Now that I think of it, the main reason for this was my stubbornness in not conforming to what everyone else is doing. As stupid as it sounds, that is who I am.
Time and again I have shocked people by my views on their favourite movies, on religion, relationships, Amir Khan, politics, philosophy and everything under the sun. To be fair to myself, I don't "like" to have a different view all the time. These are my genuine and deliberated opinions, which appear to me as most logical. I am really surprised when what seems obvious to me leaves people aghast. It is amazing how I always wind up with "the minority opinion".
I started by saying that I did not want to conform to blogging. Make no mistakes. I have not given unto to "pressure to conforming" by creating this blog. I have realized that this is an excellent medium to take my non-conformist views to the next level, by vocalizing them on the internet! So here it is: The Minority Opinion!
